We have seen how God is always faithful. He always does the right thing, and what is best for everyone is the will of God. Unfortunately, King Shaul doesn't understand this. He wants to be committed to his ways instead of the way of God. And we're going to learn in this study that that stubbornness on his part cost him the kingdom of Israel, meaning he's no longer going to be the king over the nation of Israel. With that said, take out your Bible and look with me to First Samuel.
