Amos Chapter 3 Part 1
The God of Israel is not a respecter of persons. What does that mean? It means that God has no favorites. When we speak about Israel being the chosen people, it is incorrect to think chosen means the favored people. What it means is that God has uniquely created Israel, and has chosen Israel in order to serve Him, to be the vessel which God will bring blessing into this world, potentially for every nation and every person that is God's desire, God has a plan to bring that about.
