There are two words for redemption in Hebrew, however we will focus on one of them today. The word P'dut means redemption in the sense of eternity. We need to understand the Hebrew perspective of scripture, so we can fully comprehend how God intends His word to be understood.


In the New Testament, we read that Christ was crucified on the third hour, about 9am. It then lasted until the ninth hour, which is about 3pm in our time.
